Phimanphitthayasan School, Satun was first opened by the Satun Improvement Secondary School Project on March
11th, 1997.
At present Phimanphitthayasan School is a
co-educational provincial school. There are about 1,900 students, 95 Thai teachers 2 native english teachers, 2
Filipino, 1 Belgian and 1 Chinese. The school was selected as an outstanding school having received the Royal Prized in 1980,
1981,1982 and 1999.
In 2004 the school opened the English Program.
Phimanphitthayasan School, Satun offers an English Program where students receive more than 50 % their tuition in English from native speakers. The subjects such as mathematics, science,
and English are taught in English. The program includes many extra curricular learning activities. The
school provides the students with modern and interesting textbooks, teaching materials, and computers equipped
with high technology. All selected teachers are assured to be qualified, and committed to working hard providing the students
with the best education. Measuring and assessing systems follow the curriculum of the Ministry of Education.
Students in the program are able to transfer the credits earned to different school and receive certificates
in both Thai and English
